Pat Davis-Hagens has served as president of the Bon Secours Hampton Roads market since October 2021. Prior to this role, Davis-Hagens was president of The Jewish Hospital – Mercy Health in Cincinnati Ohio, part of Bon Secours Mercy Health and has served the Bon Secours Mercy Health ministry for more than 15 years focusing on compassionate, quality patient care and efficient, effective operations. Previously, she spent 20 years with Provena Covenant Medical Center in Illinois where she served in a variety of leadership roles. Davis-Hagens holds a Master of Business Administration from Plymouth State College in New Hampshire, a Bachelor’s degree from Salem State College in Massachusetts, an Associate of Science in Nursing from Northeastern University in Boston, and a diploma from the Department of Health and Hospitals School of Practical Nursing in Boston.

Craig Schmidt serves as the chief operating officer for the Bon Secours Hampton Roads market. He has held a variety of leadership positions since joining the ministry in 2003. Most recently he served as the vice president and chief operating officer of The Jewish Hospital – Mercy Health in Cincinnati, Ohio, part of Bon Secours Mercy Health. During his tenure with the ministry, he has also served as the director of operations, the regional director of rehabilitation services and the director of ancillary services for Mercy Health – Fairfield Hospital in Cincinnati. Schmidt earned his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in Florida.

Vishwas Patel, MD
Chief Clinical Officer

 
Dr. Vishwas Patel serves as chief clinical officer (CCO) for the Hampton Roads Market. As CCO, Dr. Patel has oversight of our market’s clinical operations, including the quality of patient care, clinical staff management, development of clinical protocols, and ensuring compliance with clinical standards. He will collaborate with other executive leadership to help Hampton Roads achieve our strategic goals.Dr. Patel has been with Bon Secours for 17 years, having first joined our ministry in 2008 as a hospitalist. He has served Hampton Roads as a palliative care provider since 2022 and currently serves as medical director of our palliative care and hospice programs. Dr. Patel is also chair of the Credentialing Committee at Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center. He’s a former medical director of the hospitalist program at Maryview Medical Center and a member of the GoodHelp Affordable Care Organization (ACO). Dr. Patel completed his residency at the University of Illinois. He earned his medical degree from Baroda Medical College in India. 
Robin Baldauf

Robin Baldauf,MBA, MSN, RN, NEA-BC
Chief Nursing Officer
Robin Baldauf, MBA, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, serves as the chief nursing officer for the Bon Secours Hampton Roads market. She has been a nurse for 20 years and joined Bon Secours Mercy Health a decade ago. Robin serves as the Hampton Roads CNO while also retaining her duties as vice president and CNO of Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital in Newport News, Va. As market CNO, she is responsible for oversight and delivery of nursing operations across Bon Secours Hampton Roads, including oversight of bedside care and nursing quality and practices. Robin earned her master’s degree in nursing from Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, Ky., her MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Cincinnati. Robin received her Nurse Executive Advanced Certification (NEA-BC) from the American Nurses Association.
