Bon Secours St. Francis Surgical Weight Loss is a MBSAQIP Center of Excellence providing comprehensive care for patients seeking bariatric surgery. Our program helps patients improve their overall health, quality of life, and achieve long-term weight loss. Our multidisciplinary team, consisting of advanced practice providers, dietitians, exercise specialists, quality coordinator, behavioral health providers, and surgeons, work together to assist you in your journey.
Our surgeons are highly experienced and offer exemplary care to the Upstate and surrounding areas, including North Carolina. Our program continues to work toward improving the health and care of our bariatric patients by offering laparoscopic and robotic procedures.
Bariatric surgery may be an option for those who are who are 50 or more pounds overweight and have unsuccessfully tried to lose weight through diet and exercise. The two types of bariatric surgery we perform are Sleeve Gastrectomy and Gastric Bypass Surgery.
