Spiritual Care

The healing process takes place over time, through many processes and in many ways – and not all of them have to do with medicine or the body. At Bon Secours – Southside Medical Center, we're happy to assist with guidance of another type, whether by one of our staff or a clergy member of your choosing.

The chapel, located on the ground floor adjacent to the main lobby, is always open to patients and visitors. Bibles and other religious materials are available upon request.

For more information or to arrange a chaplain or clergy contact, please contact your nurse. You may also call the director of spiritual care services directly at extension 5593.

As a patient in our facility, your spiritual health and care are important to us.  Our chaplains are available to accompany you and your family during this time.  Patients may also receive visits from a rabbi, priest, minister, or clergy of any religious denomination or sect.  Please let our teams know if you would like to receive spiritual care from your faith community.  All individuals entering our facility will be required to comply with appropriate safety and infection prevention measures.
