Temporary Visitor Restrictions

The health and safety of our patients and community is Bon Secours’ top priority. We are allowing limited visitation at this time. To ensure a safe healing environment for our patients, some nursing units may further limit visitation. At this time, we are not allowing visitors for COVID-19 patients except at end-of-life.

People with signs and symptoms of illness are not permitted to visit, including fever, cough, sore throat, and body aches. We recommend people who are high risk for severe illness (e.g., older adults, those with a serious underlying condition) do not visit at this time.

Thank you for your help in keeping our patients and community safe.

Hospital Visiting Hours

MMC will permit visitation of 1 family member or support person with each patient undergoing an inpatient or outpatient procedure or test. In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks are recommended, but no longer required, in our facilities.

However, visitors should not visit patients if they have recently experienced a high-risk exposure to someone with COVID-19, a respiratory illness or other symptoms associated with COVID-19.

Emergency Department visitation may be further restricted due to patient census at the discretion of the department leader.

There will be no visitation for COVID-19 positive or PUI patient in the Emergency Department, except in end of life situations.
