Dr. Cook is an extremely accomplished, intelligent, young woman, who has, in her short lifetime, achieved an incredible number of outstanding things. She is a bright star in the lineup of physicians at Piedmont Orthopedics in Greenville, South Carolina. For someone as gifted as she is, the tendency, for some (because we are all human) is to strut a bit, display a bit of arrogance, or lord college degrees and achieved position over the people who are supposed to be cared for and served. I have seen Dr. Cook, so far, on four occasions. The one thing I have clearly noticed each time, is that there is not even a hint of arrogance about her. She is, in contrast, incredibly kind, deeply caring, polite, down-to-earth, straightforward, and calm. Her passion for her work and her desire to help her patients shows clearly in her eyes and in her approach to people. She is one of the most compassionate people I have ever known. It shows in her every movement and word. She sincerely wants to know how she can help, so she LISTENS, really listens, to those who come to her needing her assistance. She not only responds in a way that will fully meet the situation, but she also includes her patients in the discussions and decision-making process, so that the best conclusion is reached. She offers doable options and seems to truly love the people she serves. I love Dr. Cooks youthfulness, her enthusiasm, the fact that she makes me laugh, and the fact that she treats me, a patient, as though I am worthwhile and worth the investment of her time. She encourages me and is confident in her abilities so that I feel confident in what she does. She goes to a level that many doctors never seem to care to learn. She is the kind of person and doctor that one would be blessed to have on their team. She has my deepest respect and thanks, not only for who she is, but for the kindness and excellent care she has always given me. The world and Piedmont Orthopedics are better places because she is here. I thank God for Dr. Cook. She is an invaluable gift.Show less
