Dr. Irwin was very thorough, so I would highly recommend him to others. He listened to my concerns about my right knee and groin pain and diagnosed exactly what I was experiencing. He backed up his diagnosis with not only words but an easy-to-comprehend color diagram. Also, Dr. Irwin discussed a treatment plan that incorporated medicinal remedies and targeted exercises. I then promised to be more careful with those vulnerable parts of my body. He even demonstrated the correct way to hold and position hands when getting up from the floor. Last, consistent with his previously stated guidance, he came full circle with a great suggestion, after pain-free movement is restored, that can facilitate my efforts.Show less

My next-door neighbor recommended Dr. Irwin to me months ago. Even though I had to wait a couple of months to get an appointment, he was well worth the weight. I have seen other doctors in the Bon Secour System since moving here 2 1/2 years ago and have not been pleased at all until yesterday. Dr. Irwin was kind, patient, and listen to everything I had to explain to him. It was my first visit so much needed to be discussed. He helped me find a new neurologist for my chronic migraine condition. His recommendation has given me hope for the first time in many years. He started me on new medication's and we booked a Follow up appointment In October. I am so happy to have finally found a good doctor and I expect to remain his patient as long as I live in this area.Show less
