As a Smithfield native, my goal is to help improve the health of those in our community by focusing on the prevention of illness, management of acute injury and maintenance of chronic diseases. Teaching is a passion of mine which will ensure you thoroughly understand your medical care. While I’m not helping you become your best self, you can find my sons and I meandering around Windsor Castle Park, biking the Capital Trail, or kayaking.

	October 2024 Dr. Irwin is fantastic. He is down to earth, attentive, and sensitive to the way he communicates with my daughter about whatever examination he is about to do on her. My husband and I are intentional about teaching our daughter about consent and good touching/bad touching. Dr. Irwin's relatability and careful interactions with her help reinforce what we teach her - that no one should touch you without your permission. He even asks her about her health concerns, which helps us teach her to be involved in her own healthcare.
