Why Choose Bon Secours?

At Bon Secours Gastroenterology, we are dedicated to providing leading-edge, minimally invasive procedures that improve outcomes, reduce recovery times and enhance quality of life for our patients. With a team of fellowship-trained experts, we deliver innovative therapies that are often unavailable outside major academic centers.

As a clinic committed to innovation and delivering the highest quality care, we are proud to offer two specialized centers: the Center for Interventional Therapeutic Endoscopy and the Upstate IBD Center for Excellence.

Our Center for Interventional Therapeutic Endoscopy provides advanced, minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, often helping patients avoid more invasive surgical interventions. The center is led by Dr. Veeral Oza and Dr. Abbinaya Elangovan.

The Upstate IBD Center for Excellence offers comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for individuals living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, combining the latest treatments, personalized care plans, and ongoing support to help patients achieve the best possible quality of life. The center is led by Dr. Furkan Ertem, Dr. Kimberly Robelin, and Jyoti Patel NP.

We are recognized by the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation as part of the IBD Qorus® Platform, a national initiative focused on delivering the highest quality care for inflammatory bowel disease. Through this partnership, we also participate in research to help improve care for people living with IBD, both in our community and across the country.
