Bon Secours – Southern Virginia Medical Center has been nationally recognized by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care as an accredited Chest Pain Center. This means that our cardiac and emergency care teams have demonstrated expertise and commitment to quality patient care by meeting or exceeding quality-of-care measures in acute cardiac medicine.

After nearly 30 years as a critical resource for adults and children impacted by violence, Bon Secours’ Forensic Nursing Program takes on a new name to include new, expanded advocacy services.
In order to ensure the health and safety of our patients, visitors, associates and medical providers, we have a temporary policy in place reducing the entrance points to all seven of our hospitals in the Richmond market.
