Dr. Winslow Borkowski attended the University of Pennsylvania for his undergraduate degree. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University and completed his pediatrics residency from the Medical College of Wisconsin affiliated Hospitals. In addition, Dr. Borkowski completed a fellowship in pediatric neurology from the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals and a fellowship in electroencephalography from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Borkowski is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Borkowski has a master's degree in Public Health. During that time he went to Thailand for his research on the effects of maternal pesticide exposure on the neurological examination of newborns. While there, he was trained in the Brazelton Neonatal Behavioral Assessment Scale. Dr. Borkowski has a clinical interest in epilepsy, and especially in treating patients with refractory seizures with the vagal nerve stimulator. In his spare time, Dr. Borkowski enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
