Dr. William B. Eggleston III is a board certified family medicine physician. Dr. Eggleston earned his undergraduate degree at Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in biomedical engineering before continuing on to earn his medical degree at the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. He completed his medical training with St. Francis Family Medicine Residency Program and has been a resident physician at Blackstone Family Practice.
Dr. Eggleston has always had an interest in rural medicine and is very glad to be continuing on as full time physician with Blackstone Family Practice. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is particularly interested in endocrinology. In his free time he enjoys reading, history and cooking. He claims he is still trying to create the “quintessential jerk chicken.” He also enjoys working with the Boy Scouts of America and teaching orienteering skills, knot tying and first aid.
