Dr. Victoria Matt is an Orthopedic Surgeon with subspecialty in foot and ankle surgery and lower extremity trauma (tibia to foot). Her focus of practice is mainly on adult patients. She earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and then went on to complete her residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of New Mexico. She was then awarded a fellowship for Foot and Ankle at the University of Texas and Baylor College. Dr. Matt did an additional fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma at the University of New Mexico. (A fellowship is an extra year of specialized training that a physician chooses to pursue after completing medical school and residency training).

Dr. Matt is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon having been in practice since 2005. She is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgerons participating in Maintenance of Certification. She treats patients with musculoskeletal conditions and injuries to the foot and ankle. Many patients benefit from conservative treatment including medication, physical therapy, activity modification, and/or injections. When surgery is required, she is skilled and experienced in the most up-to-date surgical procedures, including total ankle replacements.

She is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
