Dr. Ugur Yilmaz earned his medical degree at Hacettepe University Medical Faculty, Ankara, Turkey, and his post-graduate training in urology at Erciyes University Medical Faculty, Kayseri, Turkey. He completed his Neurourology fellowship, internship in medicine, residency training in neurology and clinical neurophysiology fellowship at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA.
Dr. Yilmaz is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Neurology, corresponding member of the American Urological Association and Turkish Urological Society. He has contributed to numerous published articles in peer reviewed journals and is the recipient of several study awards. In his spare time he enjoys playing the baglama (Anatolian lute), and has performed in Benaroya Symphony Hall, Museum of History and Industry and Northwest Folklife Music Festival on several occasions. He also likes to work with his hands constructing the baglama and other experimental instruments. Additionally, he spends time reading philosophy and sharing quality time with his lovely wife and two children.
Dr. Yilmaz is committed to providing excellent care for his patients with neurologic diseases based on his training in neurology, clinical neurophysiology (EEG, EMG), epilepsy, botox injections and neurourology. Dr. Yilmaz welcomes new patients!
