Meet Supakunya

I was drawn to medicine for personal and family reasons. My mother is a retired ICU nurse and her father a physician. I served in the US Navy and found significant application for Neurology with wounded service members. My current focus is brain injury medicine with an emphasis on traumatic brain injury. I am involved with the Brain Injury Association of Virginia helping to advance the care of brain injury patients in our community.

Dr. Edmonson listened to all my concerns, even those outside her specialty, and seemed Interested In looking at my health holistically. She also wasn't quick to push unnecessary prescriptions on me like most other providers I've see .

Dr. Edmonson determined that my problem was related to my spinal stenosis and that she would recommend an MRI.
