I attended medical school at Creighton University in Omaha, NA before completing an Internal Medicine residency and fellowship in Cardiology at the Creighton University Medical Center. I truly enjoy helping my patients with cardiovascular disease restore their health and wellbeing and consider myself fortunate to practice cardiology in the Upstate of South Carolina.

| December 2023 Dr. Mathias was well prepared to discuss my circumstances. He had obviously reviewed my medications and questioned me about possible side effects. I had several questions about three of the medications. He answered them directly and clearly, without discouraging questions. In response to two of my concerns, he modified the strength of my dosages, while also reassuring me that the particular medications continued to be appropriate for my condition. I have found Dr. Mathias to be particularly adept at explaining the contents of medication or involving me in discussions of any choices that exist for treating my condition. |
