Robyn is a 1996 graduate of the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University. After graduation, Robyn received extensive post-graduate training in orthopedic manual therapy through the Virginia Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Institute (VOMPTI). She has completed the American Physical Therapy Association’s (APTA) Academy of Pelvic Health Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Physical Therapy (CAPP) and is pursuing APTA board certification in Women’s Health (WCS). Robyn combines her training in orthopedics and pelvic floor rehabilitation to treat a wide variety of female, male and pediatric pelvic floor disorders. Robyn also enjoys helping pregnant and post-partum patients achieve their functional goals.
Robyn is a member of the APTA Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy and Orthopedic Section, as well as the Virginia Physical Therapy Association. She is a member of the International Pelvic Pain Society and the National Vulvodynia Association. Robyn is an instructor for Bon Secours prenatal education program, teaching “The Fourth Trimester, Taking Care of Mom” class at area Bon Secours hospitals. She also collaborates regularly with the Bon Secours Richmond Prenatal Education department to provide postpartum education focused on the mother's experience and recovery in the "4th Trimester". In this class, Robyn shares her expertise in specialized women's health physical therapy and the physical aspects of the pregnancy and postpartum experience with the community.
In her spare time, Robyn enjoys hiking, biking, snowboarding and spending time with her three young children.
