Dr. Ravindra earned his medical degree and completed his internship in India. He also lectured in anatomy and practiced as a primary care physician there. Dr. Ravindra’s training includes his residency in internal medicine and a cardiology fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Ravindra specializes in adult cardiovascular disease. His multi-discipline research includes positions as Research Associate in Psychiatry and Surgery at Duke University Medical Center, and Research Fellow in Cardiology at the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals.
Dr. Ravindra is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology. He’s a member of the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Ravindra’s research has focused on heart valve preservation in pre- and post-menopausal women, and vascular and artery function.
