Meet Philip
I began my medical training as an aero medical evacuation specialist, flight paramedic, in the United States Air Force (Staff Sergeant). I completed my Master of Science in nursing as a family nurse practitioner at Old Dominion University. I worked in palliative care prior to joining the Bon Secours in September of 2012. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family (which includes a pug and a basset hound), sports, and reading.

July 2024 My doctor is very nice, he's well educated and very considerate. Most of all he shows much concerned for my well-being and my care and does give recommendations for treatment for the future. And his advice is very sound and yes, I do take it to heart and listen and try to make the changes. |

July 2024 The best experience ever! NP Philip Alexander was superb! He broke things down for me asked me questions so I could engage in my own health. He assured me that he definitely was going to walk me through this process and I felt good when I left about my health bc I had no idea what was wrong with me but he explained it perfectly and assured me we would solve It. Thank you NP Alexander you were amazing!!! |
