Patrick Gibbons, MD
Dr. Patrick Gibbons was raised in Chatham, New Jersey. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors from The Johns Hopkins University and earned his medical degree at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery internship and four-year residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at VCU/Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.
Dr. Gibbons practiced otolaryngology for five years in Roanoke, Virginia, before returning to the Richmond area to start Commonwealth Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists in 2006. Dr. Gibbons’ areas of interest include general adult and pediatric otolaryngology, head and neck oncology, sleep apnea, management of voice disorders and thyroid surgery. He has been repeatedly recognized by his peers in Richmond Magazine’s Best Doctors in Richmond.
