I joined Bon Secours Liver Institute in 2010, and am proud to work with teams in Hampton Roads and Richmond in the care of our patients with liver disease including Hepatitis C, Hepatitis B, fatty liver disease, primary biliary liver cirrhosis, primary sclerosing cholangitis, cirrhosis, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), liver cancer, and others. We also care for patients before and after transplantation.

	May 2025 I read a couple of bad reviews online about Dr Shiffman's "bedside manner", however I found him to be very pleasant and informative. We had a nice conversation about traveling to Australia. He described to me what he thinks is going on and how he plans to rule in/out other diagnoses
