I joined Bon Secours Liver Institute in 2010, and am proud to work with teams in Hampton Roads and Richmond in the care of our patients with liver disease including Hepatitis C, Hepatitis B, fatty liver disease, primary biliary liver cirrhosis, primary sclerosing cholangitis, cirrhosis, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), liver cancer, and others. We also care for patients before and after transplantation.

	October 2023 I don't think I got a full explanation of options of care but it might be possible that there weren't options. I did find Dr. Shiffman to be very personable and made an effort to relate the condition to something I was more familiar with. He did make an effort to ask how my child was (after pregnancy and labor was part of HPI) which was appreciated.
