Dr. Michelle Perello is a board-certified pulmonologist. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Revelle College at the University of California in San Diego, California, a Master of Science in health professions education from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California and her medical degree from Western University of Health Science, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California. Dr. Perello completed her residency and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Perello is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Physicians, American College of Chest Physicians, American Osteopathic Association and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. She has contributed to eight major publications and presentations. Prior to joining Bon Secours, Dr. Perello held several positions in the United States Military, including staff physician, division head, and department head at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Portsmouth, Virginia and was an assistant professor of medicine at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences, F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine, Department of Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland
