M. Becky Babb, FNP, is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and provides patient care in Franklin, VA, and surrounding communities. As a U.S. Navy veteran, she's earned accolades including the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Award and National Defense Service Medal. After the Navy, she earned her Masters of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Hampton University in Hampton, VA.
At Southampton Family Care in Courtland, VA, she specializes in preventive and diagnostic care for patients of all ages including same day sick visits, chronic disease management and physicals such as DOT, Medicare wellness and gynecological exams. Becky focuses on preventive and acute care management. She is also a licensed National Medical Examiner, Department of Transportation.
She spends her time outside of the office volunteering with Remote Area Medical helping underserved communities by providing no-cost health clinics. On the weekends you can find Becky traveling, restoring furniture, gardening or enjoying activities with her nieces and nephews.
