Margaret V. Blanchard, MD
- Dr. Blanchard is a graduate of Georgetown University and Medical College of Virginia. She completed her pediatric residency at EVMS/Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia. While at CHKD, she received the “Best Intern of the Year” award. Dr. Blanchard is board certified in pediatrics. After residency, she worked at CHKD as a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Emergency Department. She moved to Memphis, Tennessee, for two years where she worked as a general pediatrician at Memphis Children’s Clinic. During her time in Memphis, she worked on staff at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital as an Urgent Care Pediatrician. When she moved back to Virginia in 1999, she joined the Children’s Clinic. She has been happily practicing general pediatrics since then. Dr. Blanchard has special interests in asthma, allergy, newborn care and lactation. She lives in Newport News, Virginia, with her daughter and son.
