Lisa A. Coleman, DO received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona, California in 2001. She completed a Transitional Internship (2002) and General Surgery residency (2007) at Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu, Hawaii. Dr. Coleman is fellowship trained in Colon and Rectal Surgery through St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital, New York, New York. Dr. Coleman is board certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery as well as General Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Coleman joined the U.S. Army in 1998 and served our country as a Lieutenant Colonel until December 2016. She served as Chief Surgeon of the 758th Forward Surgical Team, Forward Operating Base Lagman during Operation Enduring Freedom VII from 2009 to 2010. She was Chief Surgeon, Mobile Surgical Team, during Joint Task Force Bravo at Soto Cano Air Base in Honduras during 2011. Dr. Coleman is a recipient of the Bronze Star Award/Operation Enduring Freedom VII, in addition to numerous awards and medals throughout her military career.
Dr. Coleman opened TPMG Center for Colorectal Surgery in January 2017 after practicing as Chief of Colorectal Surgery and Endoscopy at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, El Paso, Texas. She welcomes new patients to contact the office to reserve an appointment with her.
