Dr. Dangler graduated from the University of Virginia, in Charlottesville,VA in 1985. She worked in IT until age 28, when she started medical school at Emory University and graduated in 1996; her residency was also in Atlanta at Family Practice Residency, Georgia Baptist Medical Center. She joined Family Practice Associates of Easley in October of 1999 and has been there ever since.
Julie is married to Dale Dangler, a native of GA and graduate of Georgia Tech. She has two daughters, four cats, one rabbit, and her current residence is an one-hundred-year-old farmhouse in Dacusville. She is active at First United Methodist Church of Easley, SC, where she is a Kindergarten Sunday School teacher, an assistant youth leader, and a participant in women's Bible studies, particularly Beth Moore studies.
Her special medical interests include women's health, depression, and diabetes, and she had been on two medical mission trips to Haiti in the past two years with hope for that to become an annual occurrence. Her loves include Our Lord Jesus, her family, hiking, biking, rollerblading, poetry, anything outdoors, and reading.
