Jessica A. Mason, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician. She completed her undergraduate studies at Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Virginia, and earned her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Mason continued her training by completing a Commonwealth Public Health Training Center program and combined internal medicine and family medicine residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia.
Before joining Bon Secours, Dr. Mason was employed as a staff physician at a nursing and rehabilitation center, a hospitalist and a primary care physician. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and has participated in several research studies and presentations. Dr. Mason has volunteered with the Special Olympics Clinic and Healing Eagles Clinic and made international medical mission trips with EVMS Haiti HOPES to Hinche, Haiti, and Saint Damien Pediatric Hospital in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
