Dr. Browder earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his medical degree from Pikeville College, School of Osteopathic Medicine in Kentucky. He completed an Internal Medicine internship and residency at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and has a special medical interest in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT). Prior to joining TPMG, Dr. Browder served as a Major in the U.S. Air Force Medical Corps at Langley Air Force Base, where he was selected as Director of Internal Medicine, Director of the Coumadin Clinic, and Liaison to the NASA Clinics. Dr. Browder continues to lecture extensively, both nationally and internationally, on Osteopathic Manipulation Treatment.
As a specialist in Internal Medicine, Dr. Browder is thoroughly trained in all aspects of primary care for adults, and is experienced in providing care for chronic illness such as diabetes, elevated cholesterol, asthma and COPD, high blood pressure, and arthritis. He also provides in-office care for acute illnesses, injuries and minor trauma.
