Before pursuing vascular surgery fellowship, She served as the ship's Surgeon on the USS John C. Stennis aircraft carrier. On completion of her vascular fellowship she served the remainder of her Navy career at the Naval Medical Center San Diego and Navel Medical Center Portsmouth.
