Ida Vaclavik, nurse practitioner, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Nursing and her Master of Science, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Georgetown University. Following her graduation from Georgetown, she worked at Sibley Memorial Hospital/Johns Hopkins Medicine in Washington, DC. During her time at Sibley, she treated patients with a variety of breast complaints, ran the high risk clinic and developed the breast cancer survivor-ship program. Ms. Vaclavik is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, running and traveling.
Ms. Vaclavik treats the following conditions for patients of all ages and genders:
Breast pain
Breast cysts or masses
Breast itchiness or irritation
Breast infections including mastitis
Other non-surgical breast conditions
Ms. Vaclavik provides the following services:
Individualized, post-treatment wellness visits
Consultations about the need for follow-up mammograms
Second opinions on non-surgical issues
Screening and monitoring for abnormal breast cells
