I was born in Georgetown, Kentucky, where our family still owns a working farm. As part of a military family, we lived in many parts of the U.S. and three years in Okinawa, Japan. My medical degree is from the University of Kentucky Medical School, I completed my Ob-Gyn residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio in 1985 before returning to Louisville, Kentucky where I worked in private practice for five years.

	February 2025 I have been a patient of Dr. Wiles for 34 years. I have always recommended him to friends and colleagues who needed an OBGYN. The only thing I can say is that you all are losing a fantastic doctor with a great bedside manner to retirement. Unfortunately, I knew this day would come and I'm happy he's able to enjoy the next part of his life.
