Glenn J. Kerr, MD
Dr. Glenn J. Kerr is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult hip and knee reconstruction. Dr. Kerr completed a fellowship in total hip and knee arthroplasty in 2011-2012 at the prestigious Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson Hospital where he performed over 600 hip and knee replacements. Dr. Kerr has been active with research related to hip and knee arthroplasty with multiple publications and book chapters. He also holds a sports medicine certificate and has over 7 years of advanced orthopedic sports medicine experience.
Dr. Kerr was born in Colorado and has lived throughout the western United States. Dr. Kerr obtained his B.A. in Biology in just 3 years at the University of Colorado. He went on to attend medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and graduated in the top 10% of his class. Dr. Kerr’s military career spans over 25 years, and he is a veteran of two deployments to Iraq in support of our troops. Dr. Kerr served as chief of Orthopedics at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, for two years prior to starting fellowship. He was an active member of the military and civilian communities and served as the team physician for the Fort Campbell High School football team for four seasons.
