Emily Slater, NP, is a family nurse practitioner. She received her Bachelors in Science in biomedical engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University. Following graduation, she attended Bon Secours College of Nursing, where she received her diploma of nursing. In addition, Mrs. Slater received her Masters of Nursing from St. Joseph’s College of Maine online program.
Mrs. Slater is a member of the Geriatric Advanced Practice Nurses Association, ADMA–The Society of Post- Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine, and the Virginia Chapter of ADMA. She loves her family and spends most of her free time with her husband and son. They spend many of their weekends frequenting local, regional, and national soccer games or traveling to the lake or beach. Mrs. Slater enjoys cooking, fishing, and reading.
