Denise Borden, MD
- Dr. Denise Borden is excited to again be practicing primary care/internal medicine in downtown Richmond, Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College and her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine. Following completion of her internal medicine residency at Howard University Hospital, Dr. Borden became board certified. She taught and practiced internal medicine as an assistant professor at Howard University College of Medicine. During 25 years of practice in Richmond, Dr. Borden acquired broad experience through private practice. She also served as assistant professor at VCU School of Medicine and a clinic attending physician, and then as medical director of the VCU Health System Primary Care Resident Clinic. In addition she has experience working in post-acute nursing home rehabilitation. Dr. Borden is married to Cardiologist Stephen Abramson and they have three adult sons.
