Courtney has been a pediatric physical therapist since graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1999. Early in her career, she had the opportunity to work in early intervention as well as pediatric outpatient services. She joined the team at RHTC in June of 2007, and has been a valuable part of the team. In regards to the intensive model of physical therapy, Courtney says, "I love having more time to get to know each patient, form a meaningful relationship, and gain a better understanding of how his or her body works. I use that knowledge to help the child reach his or her maximum potential."
She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia, and her Master of Science from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a professional member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and holds a TheraSuit Method certification through the International Association of Intensive Therapy. She trained in the TheraSuit Method under the direction of Izabela Koscielny.Courtney is married and has two wonderful kids. She loves participating in marathons and other athletic events.
