About
Dr. Marquardt specializes in the treatment of degenerative and traumatic conditions throughout the spine. His comprehensive surgical expertise includes spinal fusion, decompression procedures, and complex spinal reconstructions.
He joined Bon Secours Tuckahoe Orthopedics in October 2025 after completing a prestigious spine surgery fellowship at Brown University. He previously completed his orthopedic surgery residency at George Washington University Hospital.
Dr. Marquardt earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in 2019, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He also holds dual bachelor’s degrees from the University of Maryland and Berklee College of Music.
An accomplished researcher, Dr. Marquardt has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and delivered presentations at major national orthopedic conferences. He is passionate about mentorship and actively supports future physicians through the Medical Student Orthopedic Society.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Marquardt enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and competing in triathlons. He is also an avid cyclist and rock climber.
