I wanted to practice both invasive and noninvasive cardiology after fellowship. I was fascinated to open blocked arteries when I was in medical school as these techniques were just starting. I am the first doctor on my father's side which was traditionally all lawyers and judges. I attended medical school and residency in India. I have served on the board of the Hindu Temple.
