Barbara Sarris, MD is a board-certified internal medicine physician. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the City College of the City University of New York and earned her Doctor of Medicine from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. She completed her internal medicine residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. She worked as a hospitalist, and then as an attending physician in a faculty practice and an instructor of clinical medicine at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Sarris is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Sarris is married with four children. She enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, and teaching Sunday school. She serves as a trustee with the board of directors for Norfolk Collegiate School and acts as treasurer for the Dogwood Circle of The King’s Daughters, Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters.
