April L Ashworth, APRN, CNP
Hepatology, Transplant Hepatology
Virtual Visits Available
I started my healthcare career in 1993 as an RN specializing in trauma, burn and brain injury. I then worked as a liver transplant coordinator caring for pre and post-transplant patients, along with being a living donor coordinator. This led me to pursue my Nurse Practitioner degree in 2015. I worked in Primary Care for 4 years, then joined the Liver Institute in 2019. Outside of work I enjoy traveling, scuba diving, and underwater photography.

April is amazing! She listens carefully and offers helpful suggestions. She is so easy to talk to! She is skillful and passionate about her job!
My NP is the only person I have seen and she is the only NP I want to see. St Mary's is very fortunate to have April Ashworth working for them. Please never lit her go. I would be very sad to here that.
