Alisa R. Wolner, DO
Dr. Lisa Wolner joined Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates of Hampton in March, 2010. Born in Saginaw, Michigan, she attended Michigan State University where she earned her undergraduate degree in Microbiology. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she received general medical education, as well as additional training in Osteopathic principles and practices. Dr. Wolner received her Ob/Gyn specialty training at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Upon completion of her residency training, she moved to the Hampton Roads area with her husband, Mike, who is serving in the U.S. Navy. They resided in Suffolk, VA for three years, where Dr. Wolner practiced until relocating to Hampton in 2010. We are thrilled to have her join our practice, and hope you will join us in welcoming her to the Peninsula!
Dr. Wolner has always been interested in women’s health and offers a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic care to women of all ages. She provides well women exams, contraceptive counseling/management, management of abnormal Pap smears, fibroids, ovarian masses and abnormal uterine bleeding, as well as management of pregnancy, labor, and postpartum care. Her areas of interest and expertise include hysteroscopy and minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Wolner and her husband live in Yorktown, with their 2-year-old son Caleb, and infant daughter, Grace.
