Bon Secours today announces the opening of its tenth urgent care center in Greater Richmond. The new location in the Staples Mill neighborhood begins accepting patients today, Wednesday, Sept. 3. Located at 8800 Staples Mill Road, Bon Secours Urgent Care, Staples Mill will be open Monday through Friday from 9 am - 5 pm.

Positioned in the retail corridor near major intersecting roads like Staples Mill and Parham, the clinic expands health care access for residents and families seeking convenient, same-day treatment for minor illnesses and injuries. The clinic is designed for today’s busy families and consumers who are increasingly seeking convenient retail sites with free, easy parking, walk-in appointments and the option to reserve a spot online.

“At Bon Secours, we believe that health care should be accessible, affordable and centered around the needs of the community,” said Carlton Stadler, MD, regional medical director for Virginia, Bon Secours Urgent Care. “The opening of our Staples Mill urgent care center is a direct response to that belief, bringing high-quality, same-day care to families in a location that’s convenient and easy to navigate. We’re proud to offer compassionate care that connects seamlessly to our broader network, ensuring patients receive the right level of care at the right time.”

The new state-of-the-art facility in Staples Mill will offer patients the convenience of seeing their results, labs and patient records through MyChart as well as the ability to save their spot in advance via the AI-powered Solv Health smart queuing system. If primary or specialty care is needed following an urgent care visit, the Bon Secours urgent care team can coordinate that for the patient. If more critical care is needed, the Bon Secours urgent care team can connect patients and their loved ones to the right level of hospital care.

The 4,500-square-foot Bon Secours Urgent Care, Staples Mill offers eight treatment rooms large enough for parents and/or family to be present with a patient, as well as on-site x-ray, flu care and labs.
