Bon Secours joined community leaders and local elected officials today to celebrate the upcoming opening of Bon Secours Primary Care at The Mustard Seed Place in Portsmouth with a ribbon cutting ceremony. This expansion reflects Bon Secours’ ongoing commitment to increasing access to quality, compassionate care for the communities we serve across Hampton Roads.
Located at 340 High Street in the historic Olde Towne neighborhood in Portsmouth, the new site is an expansion of Bon Secours’ focus on addressing preventative individual and community health. Bon Secours Primary Care will begin seeing patients on May 28th.

“We are honored to collaborate with community leaders and organizations that share our mission of bringing good help to those in need, when and where they need it most,” said Pat Davis-Hagens, market president, Bon Secours – Hampton Roads. “This new primary care center is not just about improving access to health care; it’s about creating healthier futures for the people of Portsmouth.”

Bon Secours Primary Care at The Mustard Seed Place will be led by Margo Smith, APRN, CNP, and will offer a full range of primary care services for individuals and families. The new location is housed within The Mustard Seed Place, a nonprofit founded by Angela Reddix, Ph.D., that focuses on empowering women and families through workforce development, wellness, and holistic support. In addition to leasing the clinical space, Bon Secours is a proud partner of The Mustard Seed Place. The expansion strengthens the health ministry’s commitment to delivering accessible, high-quality care in the communities we serve.

“Primary care is the foundation of a healthier community,” said Anand Kapur, regional primary care medical director, Bon Secours Hampton Roads. “By expanding our footprint in Portsmouth, we’re making it easier for individuals and families to receive the preventative and routine care they need close to home, and from providers who are truly invested in their well-being.”
