Bon Secours pausing distribution of Janssen/Johnson and Johnson (J&J) vaccine following CDC and FDA recommendation
Bon Secours is following this recommendation and will not distribute any additional doses of the Janssen/J&J COVID-19 vaccine to patients at this time. Ensuring our patient’s health is key to everything we do, and that’s one of the reasons we are taking this recommendation seriously. Right now, these adverse events appear to be extremely rare.
However, if you have received the Janssen/J&J vaccine and develop severe headache, abdominal pain, leg pain, or shortness of breath within three weeks after vaccination, contact your health care provider.
Join a nurse at St. Mary's Hospital to watch a short virtual tour video. After you watch the video, you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you have about delivering a baby at St. Mary's! We know that you will want to feel comfortable in the hospital where you plan to deliver your baby.
You can ask questions about where to park, where to go, what is available onsite for laboring mothers, what you should bring with you to the hospital, anything you should know about having a baby at St. Mary's during COVID-19, and so much more!
