Birthing Center Tour (Cancelled)
Out of an abundance of caution and Bon Secours' commitment to the safety and security of our community, we have decided to cancel this event. This is consistent with current CDC guidelines to mitigate risk around COVID-19, especially for those in our area who are at a higher risk.
The most recent CDC guidelines can be found at: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/specific-groups/high-risk-complications.html
According to the CDC, older adults and people with chronic medical conditions such as heart disease, diabetes and lung disease should take extra precautions to avoid potential exposure. As a reminder, everyone can take daily precautions such as washing your hands often, using hand sanitizer, avoid touching your face, nose and eyes and avoid large gatherings where ventilation may be limited.
We apologize for the inconvenience that cancelling this event may cause, but are confident this decision is the right thing to do for the safety of our community.
Join us for a tour of our birthing centers! We know that you will want to feel comfortable in the hospital where you plan to deliver your baby!
Take your own first steps as you become familiar with the hospital you have chosen to deliver at. Find out where to park, where to go, what is available, what should you bring while in labor, and so much more! You will be able to see Labor and Delivery and the Mother-Baby Unit and there will be plenty of time for questions!
- For the safety and privacy of our patients, tour group size is limited and registration is required.
- If the tour is listed as full and you are waitlisted, an email will be automatically sent if a space should become available.
Classes are held in the Health Resource Center, which is located across the parking lot from the main entrance to the hospital. For Birthing Center Tours, please meet in front lobby of the main hospital, not the Medical Office building. The main hospital lobby will have the gift shop to your right and administrative offices to your left when you enter.
