Whitney grew up in Prince George, Virginia, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Old Dominion University in 2010. She earned her Associate of Applied Science Degree of Physical Therapy Assistant from ECPI’s Medical Careers Institute in 2015.
Whitney enjoys treating general orthopedic and post-operative cases, with a special interest in concussion management and working with dancers. As a dancer and majorette for over 15 years, she understands the physical demands on the body and how to make sure those demands are met for optimal performance while protecting from injury.
Whitney has completed an orthopedic specialist training program, providing a deeper understanding of advanced manual therapy techniques and in-depth functional progression of patients through the rehab process. She believes in a collaborative effort with patients to help them achieve their functional goals. She provides education for patients to understand how their body works, along with what they can do to be successful during and long after the rehab process.
Whitney finds inspiration in the Latin proverb “Destitutus Ventis Remos Adhibe -If the wind will not serve, take to the oars.” She loves being outdoors, especially on the water or at the beach, with her family.
