Supakunya Edmonson, DO
Dr. Edmonson is a former Naval Officer who served as a physician in the US Navy for 11 years. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a Psychiatry internship at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. Prior to specialty training in Neurology, Dr. Edmonson served on board the historic Naval aircraft carrier USS ENTERPRISE followed by a tour with a ship squadron at Naval Station Norfolk. During her operational time, she deployed to the Persian Gulf twice in support of combat forces.
Dr. Edmonson completed her specialty training in Neurology at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center near Washington, DC. She then served tours at US Naval Hospital Okinawa in Japan and Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Virginia. During her Naval service, she received various honors and awards to include commendation and achievement medals and surface warfare qualification.
Dr. Edmonson is board certified in neurology with special interests in electro-diagnostics (EEG, EMG/NCV), traumatic brain injury, and the use of botulinum injections for various neurological conditions.
