The role of patient advocacy is one reason I am attracted to Palliative Medicine. I like helping patients and their loved ones to better understand their medical issues. Being a part of a team who helps to ease emotional and physical pain is another reason Palliative Medicine is suited for me. When I am not at work, I like decorating and doing small home repairs.
