Dr. Heyman completed his medical degree and post-graduate training from VCU’s School of Medicine. He was chief pediatric resident from 1995 through 1996. He joined the practice in 1997. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) and an associate clinical professor at VCU Health. He has been recognized as a “Top Doc” by Richmond Magazine. He has previously served as the vice chair and then chairman of Pediatrics at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital. He has also served on the boards of The Hayes Hitzeman Foundation, The Rudlin Torah Academy and The Friendship Circle of Virginia. Dr. Heyman enjoys spending time with his family and good friends, music and all kinds of sports.
