The field of neurology requires abstract thought as much or more than science and is full of mystery. It is why I went into medicine. I enjoy helping patients in their time of need. I am involved with the Surfrider Foundation, Habitat for Humanity and volunteer for the International EEG Charity Organization. Dr. Hekmatdoost sees patients with Epilepsy and neuromuscular, EMGs.
