Jeremy B. Tonkin, MD
Dr. Tonkin, a native of Missouri, earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine in 2003. He served his internship in general surgery in the Department of Surgery at University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where he also completed his residency in urology. After completing a fellowship in Adult and Pediatric Reconstructive Urology at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2010, he joined the Department of Urology at the University of Louisville where he served as assistant professor and interim chairman. Dr. Tonkin has relocated to Virginia Beach, Virginia from Kentucky. He will provide specialized care in reconstructive surgery, urinary incontinence, and erectile dysfunction.
Dr. Tonkin has made notable contributions to urologic literature. He participates in numerous national and international medical conferences.
Dr. Tonkin is board certified by the American Board of Urology.
He is a member of the American Urological Association (AUA), the Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons (GURS), and the American Association of Clinical Urologists.
Dr. Jeremy Tonkin is bilingual in English and Spanish and is now accepting appointments for new patients.
